St. Teilo's Church

Llandeilo has been an important Christian centre since the 6th century. The large church we see there today was built in the mid nineteenth century, on the foundations of an earlier medieval one. The tower of the old church survives and is now used to house an exhibition of the Llandeilo gospels.
